Since being the only kids in their first grade class in Eastern Oregon to vote for Walter Mondale over Ronald Reagan in the mock election of 1984, Dylan and Nathan have had an intense interest in politics that was different from their peers. Since leaving Eastern Oregon, Dylan and Nathan remain very interested in politics despite leading very full and active lives outside of politics.
Dylan is currently an attorney in Portland, Oregon, specializing in matters of personal injury and workers’ compensation. Prior to practicing law, Dylan taught 7th and 8th grade social studies in San Jose, California, and is lucky to have stayed in touch with so many of his students who are now incredibly thoughtful adults. Dylan is married with three children under the age of 6. When not spending time with his family or working, Dylan enjoys running, playing poker, and doing anything involving baseball.
Nathan is the doctor in the family. He is a practicing licensed clinical psychologist. Nathan has served overseas in America’s armed forces, and has lived in nearly every corner of this country including Portland, San Jose, Chicago, Boston, Little Rock, and Washington, D.C. He is currently married and has two young sons. Nathan is a music trivia guru and prides himself on knowing every one-hit wonder from 1955 to 1972.
